He was born in Mirandela, on December 2, 1984. He began his musical studies at the age of 12 at the Professional School of Art in Mirandela (Esproarte), in the class of professor Arnold Richard Allum. Later, with professor José Francisco Dias.

He studied between 2002 and 2007 in the class of Professor Elias Arizcuren and Ran Varon, at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten (Fine Arts), (Universitait van Musiek), in Utrecht (Netherlands), where he concluded his degree in Music Teaching and Performance with distinction.

He attended Masterclasses with: Paulo Gaio Lima, Miguel Rocha, Pieter Wispelewey, Anner Bylsma, Patrick Demenga, Márcio Carneiro, Dimitri Perlin, Dimitri Fertshman, Timora Rosler, Raphael Wolfish, Jeroen den Herder, Gavriel Lipkind, Asier Polo, Vivian Makie,, Jeroen Reulling and Jad Barahal, among others.

He played in several formations such as: Benelux Trio, Modern Quartet, HKU string quartet, Netherlands Camerata, Luso Cello Ensemble, Aproarte, Esproarte, Metropole Erasmus Orchestra, HKU string Orchestra, NSO Orchestra, Rotterdam Continuo (Opera) among others ..

Masterclasses in Portugal, France and Switzerland.

He was a cellist at Orquestra do Norte, guest musician at the Porto Symphony Orchestra, Casa da Música and founding member of Oporto Trio. Founding member of the Indigo Quintet group.
